Accurate in the background
The countdown is measured against your device's clock, not by counting ticks, so 30 minutes is exactly 30 minutes even when you switch to another tab. The time left also shows in the tab title. On phones, keep the screen on so the alarm can play.

Frequently asked questions
Will it keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. It's based on the clock, so the 30 minutes stays exact in the background, and the alarm still sounds when time is up.
Does the 30 minute timer make a sound?
Yes. A chime repeats for up to a minute when time is up, and phones that support it vibrate too. Use Test sound to check your volume first.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free, with no sign-up.
