How to use the Fancy Text Generator
- Type or paste your text in the box.
- Scroll through the styles: each one updates as you type.
- Click a style (or its Copy button) to copy it.
- Paste it into your bio, post, username or message.
How does it work without a font?
These aren't really fonts. Unicode, the standard that defines every character computers can show, includes whole alphabets of special letters for maths and symbols: 𝐀 (mathematical bold A), 𝒜 (script A), 𝔄 (fraktur A), Ⓐ (circled A) and many more. The generator swaps each letter for its look-alike, so the style travels with the text and shows up anywhere that supports Unicode.
Things to know
- Screen readers may read fancy letters one by one, or not at all. Keep important information, like your name and contact details, in normal text.
- Search: fancy text often isn't found by search, on Instagram and elsewhere.
- Some styles don't have every letter or digit; missing ones stay as normal characters.
- Very old phones may show empty boxes instead of some symbols.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on Instagram, TikTok and Discord?
Yes. These are standard Unicode characters, which all of them display. A few styles may not work in usernames, which have stricter rules.
Why do some letters look normal?
Unicode doesn't have a styled version of every character in every style, so those stay plain.
Is it free?
Yes, with no limits.
Can I convert fancy text back to normal?
Yes: paste fancy text into the box, and the Plain text row turns it back into ordinary letters.
