Aim Trainer

Warm up before a match or test your mouse skills: targets pop up around the box, and you hit each one as fast as you can. See your time, accuracy and average time per target, and try to beat your best score.

How to use the Aim Trainer

  1. Choose 30 targets (fastest time wins) or 30 seconds (most hits wins), and a target size.
  2. Click Click to start, then hit the first target. The clock starts on that first hit.
  3. Hit each new target as fast as you can. Clicking the background counts as a miss.
  4. Read your results and try again. Your best score for each mode and size is saved in this browser.

How to read your results

  • Average per target: the time from a target appearing to you hitting it. Around 500 to 700 ms is typical with a mouse on medium targets; under 400 ms is very quick.
  • Accuracy: hits divided by all your clicks. Aim for 90% or more before chasing speed, since missed shots cost more than slow ones in games.

Tips for better aim

  • Keep the same sensitivity: use the mouse sensitivity (DPI) you play with, so your practice carries over.
  • Accuracy first: start with large targets until you're consistent, then shrink them.
  • Move with your arm for big flicks and your wrist and fingers for small corrections.
  • Short daily sessions of 5 to 10 minutes beat one long session a week.

Pair it with the reaction time test and the CPS test to check every part of your speed.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes, tap the targets. Scores aren't comparable with mouse scores, since touch aiming is different.

Why does the clock start on the first hit?

So the time measures your aiming, not how quickly you moved your hand to the box after clicking start.

Where are my best scores saved?

Only in this browser, separately for each mode and target size. Nothing is uploaded.
