Cropping without losing quality
Cropping only removes pixels, so what's left keeps its full quality. Downloading as PNG keeps every pixel exactly; JPG and WebP at high quality are much smaller and look the same. To change the size afterwards, use the image resizer.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. They're cropped on your device and never sent anywhere.
Does cropping reduce quality?
No. The pixels you keep stay exactly as they were. Choose PNG for a perfect copy.
Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
Yes. Type the width and height under the picture, and the crop box takes that shape and size.
Can I crop iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. They're opened on your device and downloaded as JPG, PNG or WebP.
