How to use the Yes or No Wheel
- The wheel is ready to go. Click Spin!, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter.
- Wait for it to stop. The winner pops up on screen.
- Want to change it? Edit the list on the right, one option per line. Your changes are saved in this browser.
- Click Remove from wheel in the pop-up to take a result out before the next spin.
When to use a yes or no wheel
- Small decisions: order dessert, watch one more episode, go for a run.
- Games and dares: let the wheel decide whether a player has to do it.
- Classrooms: a fun way to answer true-or-false questions or decide who goes next.
- Breaking a tie when two people can't agree.
Make it your own
Add Maybe for a three-way wheel, or put Yes on the list twice to make it twice as likely. For two-way picks between other options, such as heads or tails, just change the words. Big decisions deserve more than a spin, but for everyday choices a quick random answer is often all you need to get moving.
Frequently asked questions
Is it a fair 50/50?
Yes. With Yes and No on the wheel, each has exactly a 50% chance on every spin. Earlier results don't affect the next one.
Is the result really random?
Yes. Each spin picks the winner with your browser's secure random number generator, so every slice has exactly the same chance. The animation then lands on it.
Can I get the original list back?
Yes. Click Clear, then Put the original list back.
