About RAR files
RAR is a compressed archive format made by the creators of WinRAR. It's popular for sharing large downloads because it compresses well and can be split into parts. Unlike ZIP, most computers and phones can't open RAR files on their own.
This extractor handles RAR4 and RAR5 archives, including password-protected ones. Archives split into parts (part1.rar, part2.rar) aren't supported yet.
