Random Number Generator 1–100: step by step
- Press Generate or the Space bar.
- Choose how many numbers you need, and whether repeats are allowed.
- Copy the results or check the history.
How random is it?
Numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues, the cryptographically secure generator built into your browser, with a method that keeps every number in the range exactly equally likely. That's better than most "random" functions, which can slightly favor some numbers.
With or without repeats
- No repeats works like drawing numbered tickets from a hat: each number can come out once. Use it for raffles, lotteries and picking winners.
- Allow repeats works like rolling a die: the same number can come up again. Use it for games and simulations.
Popular uses
Raffle and giveaway winners, lottery picks, choosing a random page or question, classroom games, and test data. To pick from names instead of numbers, use the random name picker.
